Holiday Station Stores

I am so pleased to bring you the first good deal alert of this blog!  Right now, you can score a FREE bag of TGIF Snacks at Holiday Station Stores.  These snacks are currently on sale for $1.50 and there is a $1.50/1 coupon here!  I recently tried the potato skin variety and they were very tasty.

Did you know that Holiday Station Stores take manufacturer's coupons?  They sure do!  I just re-verified this today at the Plymouth, MN location.  They often will have sales on candy and snacks (and sometimes grocery items)...watch your coupons and pare with a sale for a good deal.

Another thing you should know about is the monthly Holiday coupon sponsored by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Star Tribune.  These coupons have been out for several months now, and I have been able to score some great freebies!  This month, you can get a FREE Mega-Grab bag of Doritos Chips with any purchase.  Any purchase could be gas, a soda, newspaper, or a 15¢ sucker!  The coupons change at the end of the month, so this particular coupon is good until April 30th.  I usually print out a few, put in my purse, and I can get a free snack every time I stop by.  Previous month deals include free coffee, free breakfast sandwich, free bags of candy, and more!  The great thing is that these coupons seem to work franchise-wide.  My mom uses these coupons in a small town in northern Minnesota, and while she says they look at them a little funny, when they punch the code in their computer, it works perfectly!

Holiday also has free coffee coupons on their own website that come out frequently as well.  Use it for a regular coffee or a yummy cappucino.  This coupon expires on April 25th, but check the link afterwards as it seems to be a recurring coupon.

Another thing I just found tonight, is a 5 cents off per gallon coupon on their website.  You may as well save on gas when you're getting a free snack!  You can use all of the coupons together!

Also, they take competitor's gas coupons as well!  This is very good to know, since gas seems to be on the rise once again.

Finally, be on the lookout for tearpads of manufacturer's coupons on the refrigerator doors of your neighborhood Holiday.  I have found some great coupons when browsing the stores!  I recently found some Coffeemate creamer coupons at Holiday for 55 cents off.  I used them at Rainbow Foods during their double-coupon promotion to score free coffee creamer.  Yes!  But, please, if you are going to take the tearpad coupons, do NOT take the whole thing.  Take a few or what you will use, and leave the rest for others to benefit from.

Let me know if you try shopping at Holiday.  Think outside just the typical grocery store and Sunday newspaper coupons to score some great deals!
